Top Five Makeup Products | Drugstore & Highend

Today I am sharing with you the top five makeup products of the moment. With all the new releases hitting the shelves, there are still some old items that I always repurchase and for good reason. They really work! So these are my top five makeup staples that I use daily.

top five makeup products drugstore and high ends

The Original Beauty Blender
This magic tool is the quickest way to blend concealer and foundation. It gives a beautiful finish and it feels very gentle on the face. There have been a lot of dupes for this sponge in the market but in my opinion, nothing beats the original beauty blender in terms of its longevity. I heard that the new L’Oréal Infallible Sponge is a close dupe so I got one recently. I am testing it out and I will let you know soon!

L’Oreal Brow Pencil
This brow pencil is a close dupe to the Anastasia Beverly Hills brow wiz. I only wish they could extend the shade range because it is only available in three colors. The formula of this pencil is not too creamy and not too waxy which makes it perfect for drawing the brows. I did a full review on this pencil, you can find it here.
Availability: Ulta , Target , walmart

 Maybelline Fit me Powder
This powder is great for setting the whole face or the under eye area.It gives a nice satin finish to the skin without looking shimmery or sparkly. It is not a mattfying powder but it is finely milled so that it gives the skin a beautiful and natural finish.
Availability: Ulta , walgreens , walmart

Rimmel lasting finish by kate lipstick in 104
This line of lipsticks is one of the best at the drugstore. The formula glides on easily into the lips, it is comfortable to wear and hydrating. The shade 104 is a beautiful medium rose that is perfect for everyday.

Becca shimmering skin perfector in moonstone
The liquid version of Becca’s Moonstone is a light golden champagne. It has a very thin texture than blends in beautifully into the skin. I prefer to mix it with some foundations to get an overall glow and what is great about this product is that it does not emphasize any texture or pores!

Thanks for sharing your top 5 products! Have you tried the NYX Brow pencil? I love that one! I have never tried the Anastasia Beverly Hills brow wiz due to the cost, but heard it is a close dupe for it as well!

Such great picks! I couldn’t imagine life without my Beautyblender! I have tried other sponges but nothing quite lives up to them

I can’t wait to hear about the L’Oreal sponge. I didn’t even know they made sponges! And a dupe for the BB at that!

I’m keen to try the Fit Me powder – the one I’m using is totally matte and I’m ready for something with a slight sheen. Thanks for the reviews Claire – love the Kate lipsticks too, I have quite a few, whoops! xxx

I love the original beauty blender. So many people say there’s dupes but none of them have lived up to the original for me. I really love the eye of horus brow pencil. FIne tip like the abh but an even better formula.

NYX do a really similar brow pencil with a slightly big shade range, so I’d recommend giving that a try

I’m a big fan of the beauty blender! It’s a game changer for appling concealer. I’ve been curious about the Becca liquid shimmering perfectors. I love their powdered highlighters, wonder if their liquid highlighters are just as intense.
