L’Oréal Brow Stylist Definer Ultra-Fine Tip Shaping Pencil Review

Well-groomed eyebrows act to frame the face, define the look and enhance your facial features. The trend now is for thick, full, natural brows and as someone who has over-plucked Nineties brows, I am constantly trying new eyebrow pencils searching for the perfect formula and color.
My favorite for the moment is the L’Oreal Brow Stylist DefinerWith drugstore makeup stepping up their game lately, it is completely possible to find a cheap option that works as good as a high end one!

L'Oreal Brow Stylist Definer Ultra-Fine Tip Shaping Pencil

I have been using the L’Oréal pencil for almost a year now and I find that the formula is very close to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz but less expensive! I use the color ‘Dark Brunette’ which is a dark brown with some greyish undertones. This shade works perfectly if you have black or dark brown hair.

The formula is not too waxy and not too creamy which makes it perfect to make some little strokes or to draw a defined line on the upper or lower line of the brows. The tip is also fine enough to get a precise application and the spoolie blends the product perfectly into the skin.

After filling my eyebrows with this pencil, I like to use the L’Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper Brow Gel. Besides setting the brow into place, this gel has some fibers in it that helps adding more volume and thickness to the brows! You can even use it on its own if you have thick defined eyebrows or if you are in a rush and you need something quick to add some volume and definition.

So overall, I think that the L’Oréal Brow Stylist definer is a great affordable option and combined with the L’Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper Brow Gel ,they give the brows the perfect definition and fullness !  If your eyebrows are over-plucked, or if you want to reinvent the shape of your arches, this acts as a cheap dupe for the Anastasia Beverly hills brow wiz.

I love this post, it’s great finding affordable dupes. I rarely fill in my eyebrows but I’ll bear it in mind if I need a brow gel xx

The formula of the pencil sounds great – I hate brow products that are to waxy / creamy. They look unnatural! I’ll have to check this out.

I have never tried both from L’Oreal but I adore NYX Micro brow Pencil and Essence Make Me Brow, both have been my go to for long time.

I loved the brow pencil from L’Oreal – I just felt like it didn’t last very long. It ran out after a couple weeks, but I loved the definition it gave my brows.

I never knew that L’Oreal made a very fine tip brow pencil! This could potentially be a dupe for the Anastasia Brow Wiz?! Glad to hear that the formula isn’t too creamy, nothing worse than a very pigmented and fake looking brow. What is the colour range like for the L’Oreal pencil?
