Garnier Fructis Damage Repairing Treat 1 Minute hair Mask

Using  a hair mask on a regular basis is so important but let’s be real, waiting for a hair mask for 5 to 10 minutes to do its magic while you’re in the shower can take so long! That’s why I was really excited to discover the new Garnier Fructis Damage Repairing Treat 1 Minute hair Mask.

Garnier Fructis Damage Repairing Treat 1 Minute hair Mask

This mask claims to restore smoothness and shine to the hair without weighting it down. The formula is 94% biodegradable and 100% vegan and it doesn’t contain silicones, parabens or any artificial colorants.

This range contains five different masks :

I got the repairing treat mask with papaya extract that is supposed to work well for every hair type.

This mask smells so good and the scent is exactly like papaya! It has a very light formula and it can be used in three different ways:

As a mask: apply it for one minute after shampoo and then rinse.

As a conditioner: apply directly after shampoo from roots to tips and then rinse.

As a leave-in: apply on damp hair.

I tried it in all different ways and I like to use it best as a mask. It leaves my hair feeling so soft and tangle free. I also noticed that it helped reducing the frizz I used to get after my hair dries completely. My hair looked more soft, shiny and healthy. I have an oily scalp with soft hair that lacks volume and this mask didn’t make my scalp feel more oily at all. Also it didn’t weigh my hair down.

This mask has ‘cetearyl alchool’ as the second ingredient which is often confused with the bad alcohols . In fact, cetearyl alcohol is one of the ‘fatty alcohols’ which are highly beneficial to the hair. This ingredient works as an emollient and it helps softening the hair.

Papaya is also a great natural conditioner and it makes the hair feel softer and smoother.

So overall, I was really pleased with the result I got from this mask and I think it’s 100% worth checking out. It doesn’t contain any silicones and it is also extremely affordable which is great! This mask has quickly become one of my favorites and I  am really curious to try more from this range!

I love that more companies are starting to make products that are vegan and free silicones, parabens, and other nasties! I am going to have to try this mask out soon!

I haven’t tried this one but I have been using other Garnier masks and they are great. They leave my hair soft and smooth. I will search for this one next time I go shopping!

This sounds really nice! I literally just bought a new hair masque on Saturday!! I tried reading the ingredients to see of there was silicone in it but I can’t tell!

Look for ingredients that have “cone” as an extension such a dimethicone.
