Eau Thermale Avene Skincare Review

When it comes to skincare, Avene is one of my favorite brands. I am a big fan of their sunscreens and I find their products to be very sensitive skin-friendly! I have acne prone skin that gets red easily and recently I got the chance to test two of Avene’s Redness Relief line products in addition to the famous Eau Thermale Avene Triacneal Expert and their Ultra-light Mineral Sunscreen SP50.

I was using the Redness relief refreshing cleansing lotion as a first step in my skincare. This cleanser has a very gentle and light texture that spreads easily into the skin. It is fragrance free and it cleanses gently leaving the face feeling so soft and fresh.

I have been using this cleanser for more than a month now, and I noticed a huge difference in my skin’s redness! I have light redness on my cheeks and noticed that it was reduced by 90% after three weeks of using this cleanser.

Another product in the same redness relief line is the Eau thermale avene redness relief soothing mask. It has a very lightweight texture and a green tint to it. I’ve been doing this mask one to two times a week and I can say that I am a huge fan!

It helps calming and soothing the skin while reducing redness and irritation. This is very suitable for sensitive skin and it is not drying too which is great!

I’ve been using The Eau thermale avene high protection spf 50 ultra light mineral lotion as my sunscreen too. It is sheer and very lightweight. It might cling to dry patches if you have any so it works best for oily skin. It has titanium dioxide (4%) and zinc oxide (6%) and it wears well under makeup.

Now into my favorite product, the Eau thermale avene triacneal expert emulsion that must be used during the night time. This treatment is more suitable for acne prone skin and it is supposed to fight adult acne and scarring.

It has a yellow tint to it and a very light texture that blends very easily into the face. After one month of testing, I can definitely say that this product helped reducing the number of spots I used to get.

I also noticed a slight improvement in some of my scars. My skin is so much better since I started using it and I will definitely keep using it in the future!

So overall, I was really happy to discover these products! For now, I will definitely repurchase the cleanser and the triacneal treatment. I highly recommend checking theses out!

Eau Thermale Avene is sold at pharmacies and at beautyboutique.ca

I agree with their sunscreens, I always buy one and it’s my go to sunscreen in summer as well!! I also used up many bottles of the Avene Thermale water spray, my skin loves it!

I am so lazy when it comes to cleansing. I usually stick to micellar water cause it’s just a lot more easier. I don’t think I’ve tried Avene’s skincare before. I’ll have to try them out! Thanks for the reviews.

I love Vichy, Neostrata and La Roche Posay but I can’t warm up to this brand. 🙁
