Decleor Skincare For Oily Skin

When it comes to skincare, Decléor is one of my favorite French brands. They are specialized in aromatherapy and they offer a wide range of skincare for the face and body all based on essential oils.

Last month, I tested two of their products that are especially formulated for oily skin; the AROMESSENCE YLANG YLANG purifying night balm and the Aroma Purete 2 in 1 purifying and exfoliating mask.

Decleor AROMESSENCE YLANG YLANG purifying night balm and Decleor Aroma Purete 2 in 1 purifying and exfoliating mask.

The concept of this product was new to me and I must admit that I was skeptical when I first heard of it, but after trying it for the first two weeks, I completely loved it! It smells nice and luxurious and it has a light formula that absorbs quickly into the skin.

It doesn’t feel greasy or heavy which makes it work great for oily skin and it makes the face looking very fresh and clean on the next day. I know that it’s a little bit pricey but the jar will last you a long time since you only need the tiniest amount each day.100% worth the splurge!!

This mask is a combination of a mask and an exfoliating product. It has a nice formula that is not too thick but not too thin and it help purifying oily skin. It helps tightening the pores and it gives the skin a fresh and matte finish.

It does not smell so great but it is really effective which is more important to me.  After applying it for 10 minutes, you should dampen the mask with warm water and exfoliate gently with small upward circular movements. It exfoliates the face gently which is great if you have sensitive skin that gets read easily after any over exfoliation.

So overall, I was really happy to discover these two products from Decléor. The night balm is an absolute favorite that I will definitely repurchase in the future. The face mask works great as a gentle exfoliator too and for 35$, I think it is a good option!

Have you tried anything from Decelor? What do you think about it?

I’m trying to change my skincare this year. This is a new brand to me. I’m really sensitive to smells, I would have to check this out in store.

I tried the Decleor Hydra Floral moisturizing cream that I received in a Look Fantastic box and it’s great, my skin feels soft and plump after I use it.

Decleor is a brand I haven’t tried but always wondered about. The Purifying Night Balm looks like a good product. 🙂
