Bite Beauty Lip Pencils Review

I was really excited to receive the new Bite beauty lip pencils in a Voxbox from influenster ! When it comes to lipsticks, Bite Beauty is one of my favorite brands and when I saw that they came out with some new lip pencils , I knew I had to try them as soon as possible.
These pencils come in 22 shades and I received two to try. The box consisted of a nude shade and a dark shade with two mini lipsticks to pair them with. It also contained a Sephora Collection biodegradable pencil Sharpener.

 1. Bite beauty Lip pencil in 020
This shade is described as a ‘ beige nude’ .  My first impression on this lip pencil when I first applied it is that it glides on very smoothly on the lips but in a good way. I mean that it makes lining and defining the lips super easy and it provides an even and opaque coverage. It has a creamy formula that feels so lightweight on the lips and the best part is that it does not dry the lips at all.

This shade is the perfect nude that goes very well with my natural lip color and I can wear it on its own or I can pair it with the ‘honeycomb Amuse lipstick’ and together they make the perfect combination.

2.Bite beauty Lip pencil in 044
This color is a deep burgundy with some brown undertones. I usually don’t wear dark lip colors and I find their application to be a little bit tricky. That’s why I was not too sure at how well this shade would work on me but this lip pencil glides on smoothly and makes lining the lips so much easier. It is not too creamy to slide quickly on the lips but it is not stiff either. If you are not used to wear similar dark colors like me, it may take a little time to practice and this pencil is perfect for that. It is not drying at all and the color did not bleed on me but it had the tendency to settle into the fine lines of the lips.

This pencil works best as a base rather than wearing it just on its own and paired with the ‘Amuse Bouche’ lipstick in Whiskey, they make the perfect combination.

Final thoughts
So overall, I was really happy with these lip pencils and I will definitely look for the other shades.  They are super pigmented and the formula is so smooth and hydrating. I definitely recommend checking these out if you are searching for a good lip pencil!

I received the same package. I adore the lip pencil but can only get away with wearing nudes. I love #20, it’s the perfect nude!

I really love the 020 shade beige nude! I need a nice nude lip pencil, and I’ve never tried Bite Beauty before, so I’ll look into this!

Really nice and pigmented, is this the same brand that they have Lip Labs and can make your own lipstick?

YASSSSSSSSSSSSS Bite Beauty, ABOUT TIME you brought out lip pencils that correspond with your lipsticks! I’m a Bite junkie (got too many of their lipsticks to mention) & whilst I’ve tried the Line & Define Primer, it did nothing for my lips except upset them. So glad they’ve brought these babies out! The only sad thing about this is they’ll take FOREVER to get to Australia. :o(

Trying to find a lip pencil that isn’t drying is almost impossible – especially wooden ones! These sound great!
