Kat Von D relaunched her two distinct scents Saint and Sinner at Sephora. This duo was presented in 2009 and now it’s back with a completely re-imagined design. The new bottle, hand-sketched by kat, looks stunning and elegant!
I had the chance to test the two fragrances thanks to influenster and I got a small sample of each one.
Saint Eau de parfum (key notes: Vanilla, Musk, Jasmine)
Saint is a soft floral scent that is prefect for the everyday romantic and dreamy woman. It is a mixture of musk, vanilla and sandalwood. As the name says, Saint is the reflection of a dreamy woman; it leaves the feeling of warmth and romance. It is strong but not too overwhelming and once it sets on the skin, it smells amazing and refreshing. For me, it feels very elegant and classy, yet perfect for any occasion.
Sinner Eau de parfum (key Notes: Patchouli, Wood, Cinnamon)
Sinner is a warm a spicy scent. It is a mixture of Spicy cinnamon, Patchouli and Wood. It reminds me of a girlboss perfume, a scent of an empowering woman. The woody note gives it a little bit of a masculine feel that is sweetened by the cinnamon. This is the perfect scent for any woman who wants to feel more sexy and confident.
Sinner and saint share the same floral soul, but Sinner is more spicy and bold.
So these were my thoughts about this duo! These two fragrances can be worn alone or layered together. They smell amazing on their own and they smell even better together! I love the bottle design too; it is really beautiful and unique. As for their longevity, Sinner is a little bit more long lasting than Saint but they both need to be reapplied in the middle of the day.
My favorite one is Saint as it is more dreamy and romantic. What is your favorite?
