Five Best Blushes: Drugstore & High End

I have rounded up the best five blushes that I was using the most to get that natural pinky cheek look. From drugstore to high end, here is my selection:

top five blushes of drugstore and high end

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour blush
This blush has a nice formula that is not too creamy but not too stiff. The pigmentation is enough to give a nice color payoff to the skin without looking over the top. Tarte has a nice color selection when it comes to blushes and this one is no exception ! It is also very long wearing which makes it a great choice for spring and summer !
Availability: Sephora , Ulta

Too faced Love Flush
This line comes in six shades only but the formula is very creamy and pigmented. I love how well these blend into the skin without looking powdery or heavy .  These heart shaped blushes are also very long wearing and they do not emphasize the look of texture or pores.
Availability: Sephora , Ulta

Milani Baked Blushes
Available in 13 shades, this line of blushes is one of the best in the drugstore. It has a nice and soft formula that might be a little bit powdery but does not appear heavy on the skin. My favorite shade from this line is Luminoso which is a light peachy orange. It gives the skin a nice shiny glow without looking over the top.You can read the full review here.
Availability: Walgreens , Target

Colour Pop super shock cheek
Colourpop recently released three monochromatic collections for Spring and this blush/highlighter was  part of the Pink collection. It has that nice colourpop shadows formula that is very soft and almost feels like a mousse yet it blends into the skin effortlessly giving it a nice beautiful sheen. You can check the full review here.
Availability: colourpop.com

Marcelle Monochromatic Blushes
Marcelle is a Canadian brand and I think that it is a little bit underrated. Their blushes are extremely soft, smooth and buildable. They give a nice and natural sheen to the skin without looking powdery or cakey.
Availability: Marcelle.com

So these were my picks for the category of blushes! Tell me in the comments what are your favorites?

  1. Oooh I so want to try the Milani blushes – I love their lipsticks, but haven’t tried anything else so far. Great choices, all of them Claire. I have a couple of Colourpop ones and love them to bits, also recently discovered two terrific blush palettes by Elf. But my faves are probably the NYX Ombre ones xxx

  2. Definitely agree about the Milani – amazing stuff. I own 5 of their baked blushes.
I’ve got more blushes than sense so I’ll weigh in with my top 5 favourites: Cargo, Illamasqua, MAC, TheBalm and Milani.

What are your thoughts ?
